SOFiSTiK SP 2020-5 Build 1128 SOFiSTiK SP 2020-5 Build 1128 | 482.1 mb Construction software maker SOFiSTiK has launched a new version of its structural engineering software. This release added many new features and a completely re-designed user interface. AQB Features - Without a selection of load cases only the design cases will be treated now. But now stresses for all analyzed load cases will be saved in the database for a linear stress check STRE. - The stress values for STRE can now be given in other units than MPa. - With CTRL REIN REQU it is now possible to ignore minimum reinforcements defined in the section for bending members. - The allowable stress according SIA 262-2017 for the crack design has now been implemented. (175003) - The mean normal stress in shear cuts of flanges will be now taken based on the separated normal force. (170949) Bugfixes - Some enhancements for the fatigue stress design. (175533) - The torsional stress for DESI at RECT sections has always been calculatet with 2*t-eff, even if defined otherwise with the section. (173605)- AQUA Features - The consideration of the (minimum) reinforcement via "CTRL RFCS" has been revised. A footnote in the output tables for the sectional values now shows whether the reinforcement has been applied. When the reinforcement is switched on, it is now used consistently, both for the longitudinal and the shear stresses. By default (new option 'NEFF +R') reinforcements are also activated in non effective areas. This can be used to calculate a cracked concrete (state II) over a column. With the new option 'NEFF -R' it can be specified that the reinforcement that lies inside a non effective area is also not effective. This can be used for the calculation with effective widths of a bridge cross section. So it is no longer necessary geometrically adjust the length of the reinforcement (LBEW) to the NEFF area. Whether a reinforcement is not effective is documented in the output table of the single reinforcement bars. This can also be checked graphically using the program ResultViewer. (172904,167192) Bugfixes - Reinforcements were not considered in the table of effective cross section values, even if 'CTRL RFCS' was set. (172200) - Self weight per meter was to less in the table of effective cross section values, when non effective areas for normal force 'N' were active. - Some profile types were not offered for code SIA. (173731) - Sometimes wrong values of australian L profiles was used. (172924) - Sometimes materials and holes were not properly matched. (175408) - Export of explicit creep and shrinkage curves (MEXT EIGC, EIGS) has been improved. - Export of BMAX of shear cuts has been improved. - Sometimes the coordinate of a reference point was set to 0.0 during flipping a profile ASE Bugfixes - Incremental launching in a circle with nonlinear cables corrected. (174926) - Robustness reinforcement MREI ROBU according EN 9.2.1.1 : on Eurocode usage (ouside germany) the section height was used too small - corrected. (175274) CSM Bugfixes - CSM optimization: EQIT ITER: check of iteration tolerance corrected in case the last CS was not a target LC. (173321) Other Issues - CSM DESI AASHTO Design implemented DECREATOR Features - Integration of quad-element forces, where two or more tendons pass through a single quad element, is now corrected. (172700,173410) - Tendon geometry are included in the "Sectional Intersections" table of the print-out. - Redundant design sections, that are automatically created at beam element nodes due to force-jumps are now significantly reduced. - Interpolation of both user-given and automatically detected cross sections for the same design element is now possible. Bugfixes - Distinguish intersection of beam elements from truss elements. (174460) - Alignments of quad elements are corrected in the Sectional Descriptions of the print out. Other Issues - Lower limit of HDIV section-interval for intermediate outputs is set to 1cm. DOLFYN Features - Performance (Parallelisation) enhanced. Dynamic wind as boundary condition from WGEN in SOFiLOAD implemented. DYNA Bugfixes - Internal error caused premature exit of program when using Scaled Boundary Finite Elements (SBFEM) - fixed. (175327) - For the direct time stepping procedure, wrong beam element results were computed for storage of intermediate time steps (-> CTRL RLC). Computation and storage of final extremal results (-> EXTR), however, was not affected. (175077) - Kinematically constrained nodes with additionally associated implicit hinge (=beam hinge with work law) could erroneously trigger internal program error during assembly procedure. (174116) - Storey levels: Robustness of the calculation of the center of rigidity (COR) and center of mass (COM) improved (-> kinematic couplings). (174457) ELLA Features - ELLA is now working with warping torsion. - Improvement for evaluation of pile forces and moments. Result Viewer Features - Shear reduction factor (= linear elastic/nonlinear lever) of beams is available. (172644) - The non effectivity of reinforcement point is only shown, if the reinforcement is really non effectively. (Adapting to program AQUA, see, please, the input NEFF '-'R') - Relative distances (0...1) to start of beams or design elements are displayed. Bugfixes - Signs of shear distribution of cross sections corrected. (171319) - Number of rows and columns for the partitioning of pages were reversed after changes. (167895) Other Issues Changed behavior for incompatible result selection within one list object with adapted list view: - A list object must now result in only one output table (.plb/.xlsx) - When several results will be selected for a single list object, the program will try to automatically join the results to one single output table. - A manually set join can also be used to provide one single output table. - The adapted user interface points out when there is an incompatible result selection. - Incompatible results can (if desired) be separated automatically into several list objects. - PROG results: Incompatible results must be separated manually. - By separating into several list objects the output will be the same as before.
