The is part 1 of a 3 part series designed to teach the student the fundamentals of drawing. Just like a music class where you first learn notes and keys, we will explore the use of line to create basic shapes both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional. As the student progresses they will use these simple shapes to create complex drawings whether they are still life objects, landscapes, cityscapes or drawings of people.
This a great course for anyone who needs to improve their drawing. Who wants to learn drawing but doesn't know where to start. These foundation lessons will prepare you to move through my basic drawing series. Having worked in the fine art and commercial art fields I know the importance of foundation drawing skills and how they are use in every facet of the visual arts.
