Requirements
You will need a yoga mat first and foremost and yoga blocks and yoga strap are helpful but cushions, trouser belt or even books can be used to replace those things if the possibility of purchasing the items is an issue and some may even be ok with just a mat.
Some prior basic yoga knowledge is really helpful but not completely necessary to complete this course. Each class is done in a way that all levels can benefit from as variations are given ensuring all levels are catered for. Even if you were once active 10 years ago for example your body remembers and you will see a rapid improvement in all aspects of your fitness and strength by the time you complete the course. If this is your fist time then this will be the stepping stone that takes you on you yoga journey.
If you suffer from any historic injuries you have to ensure by consulting a doctor first that you are able to practice a vinyasa flow yoga class. I cannot take responsibility for any injuries, so listen to your body don't push yourself beyond your capabilities and always come out of a pose if you feel pain, discomfort is ok, pain is not. We are here to improve our health not make it worse so be kind to yourself and listen.
