Description
Does this sound familiar?"Oh, I would love to try yoga...someday...when I am more flexible.""I'm not in good enough shape.""I'm to old to start that.""I would be so embarrassed."I get it! How can you NOT be intimidated by yoga classes when you see images of impossible-looking poses that you cannot even pronounce performed by people with body types that seem so much different than your own? That is great for them, but YOUR Yoga may look different. That's why I'm offering a Yoga Basics course specifically developed to increase your knowledge, strength, flexibility, and confidence as you go so that you will feel comfortable enough to join a live yoga class anywhere! This course allows you to learn poses and movements in a way that gives you the freedom to find Your Yoga. The short videos and handouts allow you to build familiarity with how your body works as you learn the basic poses found in most yoga classes. This way, you can begin to feel confident approaching new poses and full-length classes. As you learn your poses, you can combine them to create your own flow using the tools from the course. You'll also have the chance to practice a full class with me in the last lesson. I look forward to hearing about your accomplishments. Enjoy the journey!

In other words, if you've been away from your mat for a while and would like a refresher.,Yogis who have a regular practice will benefit from slowing movements down, allowing them to focus on different areas they may have been taking for granted or would like to see in a different way.
